Mount Kenya is Africa's second highest mountain, and is unarguably the more enjoyable mountain to climb, with stunning views, glacial features and varied flora. There are several alternative routes on the mountain, each joining at the trekkers peak at Point Lenana (4985m).   The Sirimon - Chogoria route may not be the fastest way up and down the mountain but it undoubtedly offers up the mountain's best features. Sirimon is the most popular ascent with fantastic glacial scenery and steady ascent rate. Chogoria is the most favored descend route with dramatic gorges, waterfalls and mountain tarns. Whilst the highlight of this trek is summiting Point Lenana t in time for sun-rise, both the ascent and descent offer rewarding trekking and scenery.Note: The normal weather on Mt Kenya has clear mornings with mist from 10:00am and clear by evening. Early morning starts are the order of the day with a 2am start for the final ascent to Point Lenana, if you want to catch the sunrise.

This creative climb joins two of the most scenic routes up Mount Kenya, Sirimon and Chogoria, producing a remarkably diverse and spectacular trek. Sirimon coming off the west of Mount Kenya passes through the dry side of the mountain with its giant trees and rocky terrain, and the descent onto the Chogoria path is exactly different with its lush bamboo and highland forests. The final night time ascent of Point  Lenana can be as difficult as any ascent in East Africa, but the rest of the trek is generally considered easier than either Kilimanjaro or the Rwenzoris, and this is the most likely climb for actually seeing big game. Accommodation on this hike is in mountain huts.  Nonetheless, if you prefer to camp you can do so on all nights on the mountain.

This safari will take you to 4 of the best game reserves in Kenya. The safari starts from Nairobi to Masai Mara where you will have the best opportunity to see the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino and Elephant). Then we head to Lake Nakuru, famous for flamingos and over 400 other species of birds. Driving north across the equator, we travel to the rugged landscapes of Samburu and to Mt. Kenya to admire the wildlife and majestic scenery.
