Outdoor Activities in Tirana

The Cave of Pellumbas - the Black Cave - is one of Albania's most impressive natural wonders and a significant archaeological site, with a history dating back to the Paleolithic period. On this tour from Tirana, travel to the village of Pellumbas, then set out on a thrilling hike through the Erzeni Canyon and explore the cave by torchlight.

Dajti Mountain was declared a National Park in 1966, and has an expanded area of about 29,384 ha since 2006. Our experienced guides know the mountain very well and will take visitors safely to the highest peak accessible by foot (Maja e Tujanit). The majestic peak of Mount Dajti looms on the horizon just east of Tirana. On this tour, ride the Dajti Express cable car to the mountaintop, then hike the Cherry Pass between Mount Dajti and Mount Tujani, and enjoy spectacular views over Lake Bovilla and the Tirana mountains. On the way back to the city, visit BUNK'ART 1, a museum and contemporary art gallery housed in an old Cold War bunker.
