Originally constructed in the 6th century and rebuilt in the 15th century, the section centers on a 1.5-mile (2.5-kilometer) stretch that was fully restored in 1986 - creating a perfect replica of the 15th-century Ming-era fortifications. Learn how this segment is famous for its densely spaced, original-style watchtowers that stand along a mountain ridge about 328 feet (100 meters) apart.On arrival, view a map with your guide to familiarize yourself with the different routes and options for exploring. Then, make the round-trip journey to and back down from the ramparts using your pre-booked cable car tickets (depending on option selected).
