What To Expect
Head to Union Station to board an air-conditioned bus for a prompt 9am departure. The first stop is the US Capitol building, where you'll join a reserved, guided tour. Pause for photos on the south lawn of the White House, then learn about White House history and interiors in the White House Visitor Center. Stops are made at Mt. Vernon/Christ Church, the World War II Memorial as well as Arlington Cemetery/Iwo Kima Memorial. From the coach, along the way to these attractions, you will see the FBI Building, Federal Triangle, House and Senate Office Building, National Gallery of Art, Tidal Basin, National Archives, Washington Monument, Grant Memorial, Pentagon, Old Town Alexandria and the Potomac River. Upon your return to Union Station, you will have the opportunity to take a quick break before boarding the bus for your night tour - see the Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, Korean War Memorial, and the FDR Memorial (or MLK Jr Memorial - depending upon traffic and street closures). This full-day tour concludes at Union Station.
