Watch the sun rise over the horizon at the highest point in the Byron Bay hinterland on this 2-day Mt Warning sunrise climb. Leave Bryon Bay behind and travel by road to the base of the mighty Mt Warning. Explore subtropical, World Heritage–listed rainforest and cool off with a rock pool swim in Mount Warning National Park. After a tasty bbq dinner, fall asleep under the stars. Next morning, awake early for a hike to the peak and watch the sun bathe the landscape in its soft, golden glow.

Pick up at 5:00pm sharp (NSW! not QLD time) from the Byron Bay Visitor Information Center at 80 Jonson Street, Byron Bay, NSW 2481 (it’s a yellow cottage style building just behind the main bus stop).Please wait in front of the entrance of Byron Bay Visitor Centre on the veranda. PLEASE DON’T WAIT AT THE MAIN BUS STOP SINCE IT CAN BE VERY BUSY THERE AND HARD FOR US TO FIND EACH OTHER.

Note: The actual 9 km return Summit Walk is self guided.
Children have to be able to walk by them self for at least 4hrs or have to be carried by their parents since this tour is not suitable for prams.
