You are invited to explore Newstead House, taking in the stunning views at your leisure during opening times. Friday & Saturday 10am - 2pm | Sunday 10am - 4pm. Your general entry ticket also includes a one hour guided tour, offered daily at 11.30am.

BY TRAIN Bowen Hills train station is the closest to Newstead House with a 30 minute walk required to Newstead Park. FERRY River City Cruises depart from the River Lookout Cruise Terminal (Jetty A), Southbank Parklands at 10.30am arriving at the John Oxley Landing, Newstead Park at 11.15am. On its second cruise, The Neptune then departs at 1.15pm returning to Southbank at 2.00pm. CYCLING Cycling through Newstead Park either to or from Teneriffe & Newfarm is one of the most picturesque rides available in Australia, with bike ways running along the side of the Brisbane River for most of the journey. Newstead House is the perfect rest spot to take in the breezes!Please Note: Bike shoes not permitted on verandahs.
