He will allow all the time you need to visit with no rushing as in group tours. • It is suggested to hire a private walking guide for 2 hours to be with you in Pompeii. The guide will be going at your own pace, so that you can see everything that you'd like to visit inside the excavations in Pompeii without having to worry about anything.
• If you don't want to have a private guide to accompany you inside the excavations, you can always rent audio-guides at the entrance.
• The tickets (not included) to enter the excavations in Pompeii can be purchased on site. Since there is no long line to skip, you won't need any reservations, and once you get there you'll be able to purchase your tickets and get inside in just a few minutes.
• Comfortable walking shoes are recommended
