Join the guide for an easy-going walk through a field of lava rocks, and learn about the ancient volcanic eruption that transformed this landscape. The next destination is Wupatki National Monument, a Native American site that's been inhabited since 500 AD. See some of the pueblo ruins they left behind, walk into the ceremonial kiva, and take in the ball court as your guide shares stories about the Sinagua Indians and Arizona's modern-day Native Americans. Continue to the Cameron Trading Post for lunch on the Navajo reservation, then head to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon to explore the best views of the area. Visit the Desert View Watchtower, Lipan Point, Yavapai Point, and the Village, and learn how the Grand Canyon was carved from the desert landscape. This 12-hour Grand Canyon tour concludes with drop-off at the original departure point.
