What To Expect
Zippy Segways allow you to cover a lot of ground while enjoying fresh air and the flexibility of easy stopping. For this tour, take your choice of Dry Creek Valley or Russian River Valley - two of Sonoma's most beautiful winemaking regions that lie a bit off the typical tourist path. Make your way to the charming town of Healdsburg, where you'll meet your guide and receive a 20-minute Segway training to get comfortable on the self-balancing electric scooter. Set off with your guide for a 2.5-hour tour along country roads that wind past rows of grapevines and rolling hills. Dry Creek Valley TourWith a distinct microclimate, Dry Creek Valley is best known for cabernet sauvignon, zinfandel and sauvignon blanc. Visit the smaller, boutique wineries of Ridge Vineyards, Mazzocco Winery and Quivira Vineyards, where you won't have to worry about fighting the crowds or waiting for room at the tasting counter. Stop along the way for a snack and water break among the picturesque surroundings.Russian River Valley TourNamed for the scenic waterway that winds through it, the Russian River Valley produces excellent chardonnay and pinot noir. Stop for tastings and enjoy the lovely grounds at Rodney Strong Vineyards and J Vineyards, and end your tour at Foppiano Vineyards - Sonoma's oldest working winery. Enjoy complimentary snacks midway through the tour, and pose for photos aboard your Segway with beautiful vineyards and hills as a backdrop. You will receive complimentary copies via email after the tour.
