What To Expect
Make your own way to the Seward Small Boat Harbor for morning or early afternoon check-in for your cruise. As you approach the end of Resurrection Bay, visit Cape Resurrection which shelters both Steller sea lions and thousands of nesting seabirds. Enjoy superb photo ops as your captain pulls in close to the seabird rookeries and sea lion colonies.Along the route look for wildlife such as whales, Dall's porpoises, sea otters, eagles, mountain goats, and seabirds. If the skies are cleas, several alpine glaciers can be seen high in the mountains surrounding Resurrection Bay. You may even glimpse the largest glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park, Bear Glacier.Head back to the harbor where your tour ends after 3.5 hours.
