What To Expect
Argentina Side: (Visit 2 out of 3 Circuits)You'll be picked up at your hotel in Puerto Iguazú in a comfortable vehicle and travel directly to Iguazú National Park. Opt to explore Devil's Throat, the Lower Circuit or the Upper Circuit.The largest amount of water from the Iguazú River cascades over Devil's Throat at a rate of 3,434,000 million gallons (1.5 million liters) per second. View this breathtaking display of nature's power is visible from a catwalk built near the top of the 350-foot (107-meter) waterfall.A 0.8-mile (1.3-km) trail comprises the Lower Circuit, a loop that takes visitors up close to some of the smaller waterfalls in the park. Restrooms and places to stop for snacks are available on this trail, which boasts wonderful views of Bossetti falls that make for great photographs.Access the very top of the falls via the Upper Circuit. Take this trail, which is also wheelchair accessible, to enjoy panoramic views of San Martin Island and some parts of the Brazilian side of the falls.Brazil Side:After seeing all the sights on the Argentinian side of the falls, cross the border into Brazil and its Iguaçu National Park. This side undeniably has the best views of the mighty Devil's Throat, where you'll see over a dozen waterfalls drop 350 feet (107 meters). The famous permanent rainbow is projected upon the enormous mist cloud produced by the force of so much water falling onto the rocks below.Opt to walk through the tropical forest to the bottom of Salto Floriano, take the elevator to view the falls from the top, or trek out to see the Salto Union falls.
