What To Expect
Get a real reef experience at the Miami Seaquarium, a 38-acre, world-class marine-life entertainment park with eight different marine animal shows, daily presentations and a variety of educational programs. One of those programs is called Sea Trek Reef Encounter, one of the most unforgettable interactive exhibits in Miami.The Sea Trek Reef Encounter begins with a change of clothes into a provided wetsuit. Just bring a bathing suit. A private locker and towel will be provided for changing. Then, embark on this unique, underwater walking journey. While wearing a state-of-the-art dive helmet that allows completely free breathing, slowly sink into a 300,000-gallon tropical reef. Don't worry, a guide will be right there to lead the way. Then just feel at home "under the sea." Explore the reef and discover all the unique experiences around every corner. During the 20-minute journey, find tropical fish, sting rays and a variety of unique sea creatures and watch closely as divers feed the schools of fish.As part of the Sea Trek Reef Encounter program, be sure to enjoy a full day of all the shows and exhibits at Miami Seaquarium. Some of the shows include Top Deck Dolphin, featuring the high-flying antics of bottlenose dolphins as they perform breathtaking leaps and rolls. At Golden Dome Sea Lion, enjoy the comical adventures of Salty the Sea Lion and his Reef Rangers. There's also the Caribbean-themed Flipper Dolphin Show and a combined Killer Whale and Dolphin performance. Some of the exhibits feature sharks, manatees, seals, sea lions, crocodiles, tropical fish, stingrays and more.

Eyeglasses are permitted, but no sunglasses (transition lenses are acceptable). Guests are not permitted to wear jewelry.
No scuba or snorkel experience necessary
Certain physical and mental impairments or conditions make your participation in a Sea Trek Reef Encounter unadvisable. Examples include but are not limited to: back or neck issues, history of health conditions, seizures, respiratory problems (including asthma), pregnancy, mental impairments such as anxiety or phobias (especially claustrophobia).
