Seals and dolphins are also abundant in the area.Enjoy free time to explore Hermanus, browsing in local art galleries and independent shops or grabbing a bite of lunch (own expense). You can also opt for a more in-depth sea-going adventure by booking a boat ride for another whale-watching angle (own expense). After leaving Hermanus, stop at a nearby winery for a wine tasting session before climbing back into the vehicle for the return trip to Cape Town.
