What To Expect
Be prepared to get soaked on this thrilling guided rafting trip down the Fraser River. You'll start your adventure in the shadow of Mt Robson, stopping to pull out for a short portage on land to carry your raft around massive Rearguard Falls. Then continue down the river, filled with whitewater rapids and swirling eddies, admiring the steep canyon walls along the way. Also keep an eye out for Canadian Rockies wildlife and seasonal spawning salmon.With your experienced guide, you'll tackle intermediate Class-3 rapids; rapids are classified from 1 to 6, with 6 being the most difficult. So, this an exciting, wet and adrenaline-producing trip for all experience levels. Dress with a swimsuit underneath your street clothing and bring warm clothing for afterwards. It is also recommended to bring a drink and snack for after the tour.
This trip runs in all weather conditions. Participants will be provided with all the necessary technical equipment including wetsuits, spray jackets, neoprene booties, helmets and lifejackets, however on cooler days, those prone to feeling the cold should bring either a fleece or wool jacket to wear underneath the spray jacket (No cotton should be worn)
You are required to check-in 15 minutes prior to departure time at our office located at 632 Connaught Drive, Jasper (inside Pure Outdoors Retail Store). All day parking is available in the parking lot directly across the street.
