Nature & Wildlife in Kuching

The Matang Wildlife Centre specializes in rehabilitation for wildlife, such as orangutans, sun bears, civets and other creatures that are orphaned or rescued from captivity. During this full-day visit, learn about the plight of Sarawak's wildlife, and take a guided trek through the rainforest for a look at rare plants. Lunch and hotel transport from Kuching is included.

Visit Semenggoh Orangutan Centre, a wildlife centre dedicated to rehabilitating orangutans, on a half-day tour from Kuching. Alongside your guide, you'll embark on a short hike through the rain forest in order to watch the semi-wild orangutans at feeding time. Learn about the 20 orangutans who live in the surrounding forest, many whom arrived injured or orphaned, and admire the surrounding fauna. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included.
