Overview
Discover the highlights of Chiang Rai and the Golden Triangle, but then get off the beaten path as we explore more authentic parts of Chiang Rai and it’s colourful hill tribes. Travel with a local hill tribe guide who opens up cultural encounters for you, to interact with villagers and learn first-hand about their way of life, in a responsible way. Travel along the Thai/Myanmar border, visit Palong, Lahu, Karen and Akha hill tribe villages, try local food, and the chance to stay overnight at a hill tribe homestay. We do not include accommodation or meals in the price (you pay for them directly), which means that local businesses benefit from your visit directly, this is part of our local fair pay and responsible tourism policy
