• One way ride on the Ngong Ping cable car from Tung Chung to the Big Buddha in a standard cabin (upgrade to crystal cabin available on request).
• Public bus ride from Ngong Ping to Tai O and public bus ride from Tai O to Tung Chung or Mui Wo at the end of the tour

• If you elect to use a taxi at any point during your tour, the costs are not included and are payable by yourself.
• Please note that if you book a hotel pick-up, it is still a walking tour, not a car tour which means that you will be travelling around using the excellent public transport system.

Tung Chung MTR Station located on Lantau Island (7 hour tour) or from your hotel lobby (8 hour tour)

Weekdays 9:45am (or in your hotel lobby at 9am)Weekends and public holidays 8:45am (or in your hotel lobby at 8am)

Your tour will finish at Tung Chung MTR or at Mui Wo ferry pier from where you can travel back to your hotel or cruise ship. Your guide will explain your return route. If you would like your guide to take you back to your hotel just let them know during your tour and they will take you all of the way back.

• This tour requires you to be physically fit. You will be walking between 5 and 10km over the course of the day. How far you walk will depend on how much walking you want to do at Tai O. You will be going at a slow pace, across flat land but you do need to be in reasonable health. If you wish to visit the Big Buddha up close you will need to be able to climb up 268 steps!
• Occasionally the cable car is closed for maintenance. If it is closed on the day that you would like to tour, your tour guide will refund you the price of the cable car tickets and you will use the bus instead.
• Please also inform us if you are travelling with children under 12 years of age. 
• Tours will be conducted in English unless requested otherwise at the time of booking.
