In this tour, you will visit a sumo beya (sumo training stable) which has one of the strongest and most famous Rikishis (sumo wrestlers) who is always in line for the championship. Why not watch the powerful and soulful training of Rikishis just in front of your eyes? You can take photos with the wrestlers after the practice.

The place for watching the training is a tatami-laid room. You should sit on tatami while watching the keiko (training). Please do not stretch your legs towards Dohyo (the circular ring of sumo match) nor lie down on the floor. (for approx.120 mins.)
You can take photos during the training without flash but please do not walk around. Please turn off the sounds on the camera or mobile phone as it may disturb the training. You will have a photo opportunity with sumo wrestlers after their training.
During watching their practice, speaking, drinking, eating and stepping on the Dohyo (the circular ring of sumo match) are all strictly prohibited. Please turn off your mobile phone or set it to silent mode and refrain from speaking on the phone.
Some sumo wrestlers may be absent from the training due to having a practice outside or being injured. Thank you for your understanding.
